PART- 2 लेकिन जीन देखता है की उसने चाकू शार्क के बच्चे पर मारा है वह उसे नाव में खींच लेता है और वह तीनो इतने दिनों के बाद खाना खाते है इससे ताकत ही नहीं उमींद भी मिलती है इन में से जो हेरल होता वो कहता है की अब में घर जाऊंगा मेरी पत्नी मुझसे बहुत नाराज होगी वो इन दोनों से पूछता है की तुम्हारी शादी हो गई दरसल वो एक दूसरे को इतने अच्छे से नहीं जानते है फिर टोनी कहता है मेरी गर्लफ्रेंड में उससे शादी करूँगा फिर जीन कहता है मेरी तो ना कोई गर्लफ्रेंड और शादी भी नहीं हुई है तभी टोनी कहता की तुम मेरी बहन से शादी कर लेना वो बहुत खूबसूरत है तुम्हारी और उसकी जोड़ी अच्छी लगेगी जीन कहता है हा कर लूंगा | जब ये आपस में बात कर रहे थे तो इन्होने देखा की बहुत सारी शार्क इनके नाव के निचे गुमने लगी दरसल जब इन्होने शार्क के बच्चे को मारा तो उसका कुछ खून पानी में मील गया जिसकी गंद से बहुत सारी आ गई थी पर वो बिना कुछ किये वापस चली गई दरसल साउथ पैसेफिक शार्क के लिए बहुत फेमस है वो किसी भी समय इनकी नाव उलटी कर इन्हे मार सकती है इनकी किस्मत अच्छी है इनका कुछ किया नहीं | लेकिन फिर कुछ गुजर जाने के बाद फिर भूख और प्यास परेशान हो जाते है और कमजोर होने लगते है एक रात को जिन पानी में हाथ डालकर सौ रहा था तभी एक शार्क उसके हाथ पर हमला करती है लेकिन उसके हाथ ज्यादा चोट नहीं आई होती एक बार जीन को लगता सामने कुछ है वो टोनी को भी दिखता है की वहा एक टापू है लेकिन टोनी कहता सामने कुछ नहीं है ये बस तुम्हारा भ्रम है दरसल इन्हे अजीब से सपने आ रहे होते है अगली सुबह टोनी के हाथ में एक गन होती है तभी जीन को उनकी नाँव पर एक पक्षी बैठा दिखाई देता है और टोनी से गन लेता है और उसे मार देता है लेकिन वो पक्षी उनसे दूर पानी में गिर जाता है तभी हेरल उठता है पानी में कूद जाता है जैसे ही वो पक्षी को लेकर आ रहा होता है तभी उसके पीछे शार्क लग जाती है और वो जल्दी से नाव में आ जाता है और शार्क उसके नाव के निचे से निकल जाती है एक बार फिर इनको खाना मिल जाता है लेकिन जैसे जैसे दिन बित रहे होते इसका असर दिमाग पर भी पड़ रहा होता है इन सबको अजीब-अजीब सपने आने लगते है | जब सुबह हेरल उठता तो वो देखता है की कोई ड्यूटी पर नहीं वह उन्हें हवा की दिशा देखने को कहता है इससे बहुत गुस्सा हो जाता है तभी जीन कहता है यहां देखने के लिए कुछ नहीं है वैसे भी आज तक हमे टापू पर पहुंच जाना चाहिए था हेरल कहता है मेरे दिमाग में एक रफ नक्शा है इससे वो दोनों हैरान हो जाते है यानी की अभी भी पक्का नहीं है की वो कहां है तुम्हारी वजह से हमे समुन्द्र लेंड करना पड़ा क्योकि तुम्हे  पता ही नहीं चला की हमारा जहाज समुन्द्र में कहा है तुम हमें हमारे जहाज से बहुत दूर लें आए थे जिस वजह से हम सीमा से बहार हो गये इसलिए हमारी उनसे बात नहीं हो पाई और हेरल भी स्वीकारता है की जब वो हवा में थे तब उसे नींद आ गई थी इससे वह बहुत दुर निकल चुके थे तब तक सीमा से बहार निकल चुके थे और पेट्रोल ख़त्म होने की वजह से इन्हे समुन्द्र में लेंड करना पड़ा ये तीनो यहां फस चुके थे यानी इन सबके पीछे गलती हेरल की होती है और हेरल को इस बात का बहुत पछतावा भी होता है वो इन दोनों से माफ़ी भी मांगता है उसकी आँखों में आँसू होते है लेकिन ये अब कुछ नहीं कर सकते जीन उस जैकेट को उठता जिस पर नक्शा बना होता है और कहता है की अब यही हमे गर वापस ले जायेगा तभी हेरल को आईडिया आता है वो उसके पास जो जूते रखे होते है उन्हें जीन के चाकू से काटकर उनके चपू बना लेता है ताकि जिस भी दिशा में जाना चाहते उस दिशा में जा सके और टोनी कहता की जो भी पहले टापू देखेगा उसे वो दोनों मिलकर डिनर करांगे उसकी मंद-पसंद जगाह पर लेकिन उनका रास्ता सरल थोड़ी था और कुछ और दिन बीत जाते है और आज इन्हे समुन्द्र में लगभग 35 दिन हो जाते है और 35 दिन के बाद अब इनके अंदर बोलने की भी ताकत नहीं होती है क्योकि ये प्यासे है भूखे इनके पास ना ही पानी और खाना है ना ही कोई उम्मीद है उसी रात को बारिश होना शुरु हो जाती है जिससे इन्हे  फिर पानी मील जाता फिर ये देखते है की इनके सामने भयानक तूफान आता है और इसमें इनकी नाव पलट जाती है और उनमे से जीन को तैरना नहीं आता वो दिखाई नहीं देता है फिर कुछ समय बाद जीन नाव के दूसरी तरफ दिखाई देता है फिर किसी तरह अपनी नव सीधा करते है और एक-एक कर उसमे चढ़ जाते है और इस तरह ये तूफान से बच जाते है अगली सुबह यह दिखाया जाता है ये तीनो बुरी तरह से थक जाते है और इनका जो भी सामान था वो रात को तूफान में गुम हो जाता है फिर अब इन्होने भी मान लिया की अब ये नहीं बच सकेंगे ये एक जिन्दा लाश की तरह पड़े होते है और इन्हे अपने घर की भी याद आ रही होती है हेरल अपनी पत्नी को याद कर रहा होता है और जीन को टोनी की बहन समुन्द्र में बैठी हुई दिखाई देती है और टोनी से कहता के मुझे तुम्हारी बहन से प्यार हो गया टोनी कहता की तुम दोनों एक अछे पति पत्नी बनते हेरल ये सब सुकर बहुत दुखी होता है मुझे नहीं पता था की ये सब इस तरह खत्म होगा मुझे माफ़ कर दो दरसल हेरल अपने आप को इसके लिए गुनेगार समज रहा होता है लेकिन टोनी बड़ी मुश्किल बैठता है और कहता की हम बहुत दूर आ गए है हम इस तरह हर नहीं मान सकते इसके बाद वह अपने हाथ से ही चपु चलाने लगता है इसे देख कर वो दोनों भी हाथ से चपु चलाने लगते है इससे कुछ नहीं होता और ये लगभग मर चुके थे इसी बिच टोनी कहता की मेने सपना देखा जिसमे मैने एक बहुत हरा खेत  देखा हेरल कहता की ये सपना में दो बार देख चूका हु इसके बाद हेरल थोड़ा समुन्द्र का पानी पीना शुरु कर देता है दरसल उसने मान लिया की अब वो नहीं बच सकते तभी सामने लेटा जीन कहता की मुझे कुछ हरा हरा दिखाई दे रहा है और जब ये तीनो उठकर देखते तो यह एक टापू होता है और अब तीनो में उमींद दिखाई देती है और ये जोर जोर से अपने हाथो है नव को टापू की और ले जाते है और कूची पलो के बाद ये तीनो समुन्द्र के किनारे पे पड़े होते है इतने दिनों बाद इन्होने धरती को छुवा है जिससे इन्हे बहुत सुकून मिलता है यही बिच पर दो झोपड़े होते है और ये उस तरफ चल देते है और इस तरह ये तीनो इस सफर को खत्म करते है इन तीनो की जान इस लिए बची की क्योकि इतने मुश्किल समय इन तीनो साहस नहीं छोड़ा साहस एक ऐसी चीज है जो जिंदगी में आपको लड़ना सिखाती है और आगे बढ़ना सिखाती है वो आपके अंदर जस्बा लाती है और इसी जस्बे से ये तीनो बच गए अंत में बताया जाता है की इन तीनो 1000 माइल से भी ज्यादा का सफर उस छोटी से नाव में किया था
